This set consists of 'Mini-mogiginhwabyeong' (Mini Long-Necked Vase) with its noble neckline and 'Dungeun-eokkae-hwabyeong' (Round-Shouldered Vase) with its soft curves. Inspired by traditional white porcelain, we have delicately recreated each form using Mosi-cheon (ramie fabric) and Gwangmok-cheon (plain-woven cotton fabric).

Work Description
We are pleased to introduce the 'JUNGSOHYE Vase Edition Set', reinterpreting the elegance of Joseon white porcelain with a modern sensibility. This set consists of 'Mini Mogiginhwabyeong' (Mini Long-Necked Vase) with its noble neckline and 'Dungeun-eokkae-hwabyeong' (Round-Shouldered Vase) with its soft curves. Inspired by traditional white porcelain, we have delicately recreated each form using ramie and cotton fabrics.
Finished with an overlock technique, these pieces harmonize the grace of traditional ceramics with the soft texture of fabric. This edition set, bridging past and present with its elegant aesthetics, will add sophistication to any space.
These pieces, made entirely by hand, are created by joining carefully selected fabrics to the original form, then meticulously stitching and filling them with cotton to achieve a unique volume. In this process, the once-flat fabric transforms into a three-dimensional form, offering the aesthetics of chance through unexpected wrinkles and curves.
The pottery is then produced using the plaster slip casting technique. The continuous needle stitches engraved on the surface of the work are elevated beyond mere decoration to become functional elements that complete the form, while simultaneously acting as unique patterns that further enhance the artistic value of the piece.
